Today, I bought 10 bottles of fig perfume from Ceren.
Ceren is only 22 years old. She is young, curious, talented — and already taking her own steps into the world of perfumery.
What makes her story even more special is that fragrance is also a family journey for her. Her family has been working together in the cosmetics world, and Ceren is now creating her own place within that story, bringing her own ideas, curiosity and personality into the world of scent.

There is something very beautiful about seeing someone so young building something with her family, learning along the way, taking risks, experimenting and believing in what she creates.
Her fig perfume is not just another bottle on a shelf for me. It represents the beginning of a journey — a young perfumer finding her voice and creating something of her own.
And this is exactly why we, at IPW — Istanbul Perfume Week, want to support young Turkish perfumers.
We want to meet them, smell their creations, hear their stories and give them a place where their voices can be discovered.
Because sometimes supporting a young perfumer is as simple as saying:
“I see you. I believe in what you are creating. Keep going.”

Today, I chose to do that by buying 10 bottles of Ceren’s fig perfume.
I hope there will be many more bottles, many more creations and many more stories ahead of her.
Ceren, keep creating. Your journey has only just begun.
